* Summary
*  Mr. Ahmad Ghunaim is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) by the PMI (Project Management Institute) with eight years of experience.
* He is also a certified as MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) after passing Microsoft Office Project Server – Managing Projects Exam and passing the Configuring Microsoft® Office SharePoint Server™ Exam.
* He has graduated from the Philadelphia University in 2004 after getting his BSc in Software Engineering with Excellent rate after that he has studied at University of Jordan and got a high diploma degree in 2007 in Computer Science.
* Currently, Mr. Ghunaim working at (KANEE) as a PMO – project manager since December 2012.
* Previously, Mr. Ghunaim worked at Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC-Jordan) as a Senior IT Professional & Project Contributor since December 2005.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Role: Project Manager
* Establishing the PMO
* Develop a communication and governance structure for the PMO
* Oversee the development of effective project tools (EPM) to aid in process standardization and project monitoring, including templates and reports for all KANEE group projects.
* Facilitate and coordinate execution of Project prioritization (governance)

process relating to the overall awarding Tenders/Projects.
* Escalate issues, facilitate conflict resolution in a timely manner and assist managers with the recovery of struggling projects.
* Ensure all projects administered by the PMO adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for program and project management.
* Meeting with senior management to set their expectations and scope their needs
* Evaluate proposals and create evaluation reports
* Provide PM guidance, training, workshops, tools, and techniques to project managers
* Conduct project reviews, lessons learned, and performance score cards
* Help in creating contingency and mitigation plans for major projects
* Ensures data integrity and quality
* Create dashboards for senior management about project forecasting and resource utilization
* Create and enhance measurement KPIs to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of the changes

Duties & Responsibilities:
Role: Project Management Assistant
* Guiding the development of Project Management Methodology, Best Practices and Standards in TRC, Produce reports and briefings on Project/Tasks functions and achievements to the line manager on regular basis.
* Following up some procurement projects from start to the end, present reports and escalations to main tenders committee and to the CEO.
* Provides coordination and guidance to the PMO project manager, administrators, and department director’s staff.
* Project Management Assistance from TRC’s side of the IT Strategic Plan for the next 3 years (2010-2012).
*Preparing Technical Specifications for different IT tenders.

* Leads and coordinates project update meetings, and documents project status and issues.

Role: Project Management Cooperation
* Preparing project plans for the in-house IT projects that managed by (PMO – IT manager), Implement the project functionalities with a team (committee), report directly to the CEO/PMO (IT Manager), handles all the needs to manage and cooperate with other departments.
* Developing the IT Strategic Plan of TRC for 2010-2012 years in line with TRC’s 2010-2012 Business Strategic Plan;
* Preparing Budget Estimations/Plans, Reports…etc. for the IT department.
* Participates in departmental strategic and budgetary planning processes; provides recommendations on policies and goals desired; and implements revised programs according to established guidelines.
* Continually monitors individual progress to insure meeting of specific deadlines coexisting the PMO /IT Manager.

Role: Team Player/Member in PMO (Committee/Group)
* Being a key team member in the Excellence Committee to prepare the TRC’s Participation Report for the King Abdullah II for Excellency and the

Transparency since 2009 to 2010 (www.kaa.jo).
* Being Key person within a team that led the efforts of implementing a total / integrated solution that incorporates the functionalities of an ERP: HRMS, FMIS; ECM: DMS / Archiving / Workflow & CM systems, with all nuances related to Policies, Processes …etc.
* Preparing Terms of Reference, RFQ’s/RFI’s/RFP’s for most IT related projects/equipment (PMO Projects).
* Heading Technical Committees that evaluates RFP/Bid responses/proposals.
* Heading of and being active member in several Technical Committees (PMO meetings).
* Provides direction to project teams (virtual teams by committees/specialized colleagues) including assignment of individual responsibilities, tasks and technical functions.

Role: Senior IT Professional / business Analyst / Software Engineer
* Transferring business needs from all departments at TRC into IT technical specifications based on the business processes/requirements.
* Developing several new systems and tools.

 

* Working on integration of Information technology Systems, gathering requirements, analyzing needs, preparing the RFI, RFQ and RFP documents.
* Supporting and Troubleshooting Web Hosting, Complaint System (HP Service Desk Manager ver.7, IVR System and Speech Log program), Archiving System (Saperion), Financial Systems (Tailored/In-house Systems), GSM Quality of Service System (QVoice), Time Attendance System (Tailored/in-house System), Mail Exchange Server 2003/2007, Active Directory, Domain Controller and windows Servers.
* Continues professional development through attendance at meetings, courses, professional seminars, webinars and conferences.
* Any additional business of technical tasks assigned by PMO (IT Manager) and the CEO.
