Every member of the crew must put in his maximum effort. That must also be accompanied with good timing with the efforts of the other crew members. Finally all the crew members must row in the same direction. These principles are also very crucial for the success of any human organization.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I believe that my role in any organization that I belong to is to bring out the best of the people I am working with, be it students, colleagues or staff members.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>B- Pillars:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">This philosophy rests upon the following pillars:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">1-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<em>Human Relationship<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I strongly believe in the humane relationship that must prevail the organization that I belong to. Such relationship can truly make people like the institution and like what they do. Thus they perform their tasks with utmost devotion.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">2-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<em>Appreciation<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If there is any magic that makes people do better than expected it is APPRECIATION. As one expects others to appreciate what one does, so one must show appreciation of others\u2019 effort. It is not necessarily material; it could well be a few words such as \u201cwell done\u201d or \u201cthat was good\u201d.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">3-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<em>Team Work<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">I am a firm believer in the saying that one can hardly succeed alone. It is only through team work and team spirit that one can achieve the targets. As a head of an organization one cannot succeed without the hard work and true efforts of all stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">As a professor one cannot really succeed without the cooperation, dedication and hard work of the students and those of other stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">4-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<em>Team building<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The main objective of any true leader must be to build a team capable of carrying out tasks at a later stage. The team-building effort is a necessary step in the development of the organization.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">5-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<em>Opportunity<\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Human beings are like seeds. They can and will bear fruits if the right soil and environments are provided. During this period the college managed to revise and update all the academic programs at the college. In this period also the college introduced two new majors: Mass Communication and Information Systems (Library studies).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The academic achievements and publications of the staff members of various departments during these five years were outstanding by the standards at the Qatar University. Seminars , workshops and conferences at the college or the department levels were routine practice.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>2-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The Dean the graduate school (2001-2003):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">In 2001 I was selected as the\u00a0<strong>First Dean of the graduate school\u00a0<\/strong>at the University of Qatar. I was assigned the task of laying the foundation of the graduate studies at the university. I with the help of other people at the university managed to put in place the bylaws and regulations of the school. The first graduate program at the university took of in the year 2002.It was a Master Program In Business Administration (MBA). I am proud to say that up until now it is the only graduate program available at the University of Qatar.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>3-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The director of the Education Institute (the Supreme Education Council) Jan 2003-Sept 2004:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">In January 2003 I was selected by RAND (an American Organization) to head a newly established body (Education Institute) responsible for education reform at the national level inQatar. The reform covered K-12 levels.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>When I joined the institute it was only sketch on a paper. In fact I was the first person employed in the Institute<\/strong>. By the time I left it was fully complete organization with more than 200 employees and many efficient departments.\u00a0I am proud to say that I built a multi-national team of many diverse countries including people from(USA, AUSTRALIA, CHILIE, NEW ZEALAND, ENGLANG and various Arab states).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">When I was hired I was told that The Institute\u2019 goal is to transform 5 regular schools from the Ministry of Education in a new Independent ones by September 2005.Through the hard work of all the people ,we managed to have 15 schools ready for the transformation by April 2005.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>4-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The Director of the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute at Qatar University (2008-Present):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In April 2008 I was given the task for establishing the Institute from scratch.
