The last provides all university students (18,000 students) with university requirements courses\u00a0 (4) as well as many elective courses including sociology, philosophy, democracy and human rights, Islamic thought, human civilization, History of the Arab World, History of Jordan, &#8230;etc, and the Language Center which provides language training to several colleges (French, Spanish, Arabic as a second language). The college provides three MA programs two in languages and literature and the other on Peace and Conflict studies.<\/li>\n<li>Led faculty of more than 60 full time and 20 adjunct faculty and teaching assistants and more than 2000 students and 20 administrative staff.<\/li>\n<li>Improved the academic quality of the offerings of the college.\n<ul>\n<li>Provided an environment of academic freedom and defended students and faculty rights, which helped improve and keep the faculty and recruit graduate students.<\/li>\n<li>Managed the budget of more than $3millions.\n<ul>\n<li>Led the leadership team of the faculty and the language center consisting of Vice Dean, two Assistant Deans, Three departments&#8217; heads and the Language Center Director.<\/li>\n<li>Led the extracurricular activities, which include students&#8217; creative ideas.\n<ul>\n<li>Oversaw the academic life of the college including the academic affairs especially teaching and curriculum development. Updating the courses of the college and integrating IT-E-Learning- into teaching and learning tools of most of the courses as well updating all textbooks of the classes to international standards.<\/li>\n<li>Led the accreditation process of the degrees of the colleges both private and public accreditations and achieved accreditation (special) for the three MA programs) and Public accreditation for all BA and MA programs under my tenure.<\/li>\n<li>Developed the strategic plan of the college up to 2014.\n<ul>\n<li>Led the recruitment process of new faculty members, researchers and the promotion process. More than ten faculty members were promoted under my tenure.<\/li>\n<li>Led the selections process of sponsored students.
